The Honeybun Foundation is a registered NPO (223-009) That aims to improve the lives of the disadvantaged/underprivileged individuals and communities.

In 2014, we started vegetable gardens, showing and teaching the community how to use what they are given to the best of their ability by teaching them to grow, nurture and harvest the food they’ve grown.

We focus on education and trying to improve the educational standards of those staying on the streets and in the informal settlements. We try and teach the adults a trade or two so that they are able to use it and increase their chances of getting a job and hopefully getting their families out of the poverty cycle.

We do weekly feeding programmes as well as educational activities with the Victoria Lodge Informal Settlement.  This is where everything started and I still keep this community very close to my heart.

The initiative was founded by Stephen Langman.
